Negative Public Service Announcement TVC
Empathy: Anger, Hate and Fear.
Idea: This PSA TVC was made to show adults that children learn to live from them. To highlight that whatever adults do, think and say are very influential towards children.
Concept: A very brilliant concept where every adult in this TVC were paired up with a child. Every action and every word that they said were mimicked by these children that they are paired up with. It is scary to see those children mimicking the adults and that fear could help adults to realize that all the wrong doings these children are doing actually came from themselves.
Propose: Our young generations nowadays are totally incontrollable. With all these suggestive movies such as Adnan Sempit, Kongsi, KL Gangster etc, children are picking up bad language, immorality and more. Parents themselves, shouldn’t act recklessly around their children. They should always be polite and show respect to other people especially in the presence of children. Malaysia is in need of a powerful PSA TVC such as this. I proposed this idea and concept to be adopted by Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat in order to develop peaceful, loving and respectful Malaysian society.
Positive Public Service Announcement TVC
Empathy: Love, Patience and Hope
Video: morethanmedication.ca in collaboration with Pfizer
Idea: The idea of this touching TVC is to give hope to people in need (in the case of this TVC it’s sick people) and to tell them that we are there for them and will love them in whatever circumstances.
Concept: This TVC played around with the slice-of-life theme. Focusing on a hopeless family that seems to be losing hope for their daughter’s healthy life. A boy (presumably the brother) was seen to be out in the night with a bag full of spray paint. He started painting the buildings and only finished when morning comes. When he got home, an elderly woman (presumably the mother) gave him a disappointed look but was brushed off by her son. Her son went in her sick daughter’s room and pulled open the curtain. What was outside the window was a complete tear jerker.
Propose: I suggest that our Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia could adopt this idea and concept and make collaboration with health organizations in instilling positive citizens. We should face sickness with negative emotions, mourning over it, being gloomy about it. Instead, Malaysians should be taught about giving hope and patience as well as never ending love towards sick people.
CREATIVE TVC (International TVC)
I would like to make a statement that I am schocked when I first stumbled upon this TVC because…it has no audio. What?! However, I find it very interactive and creative because they just used 5 boys and a white big board with spray paints.
All the graphics, CGI that they use in this TVC makes it very interesting and fun to watch. The boys pretended to be ripping off the words to make other words, spraying a ‘down arrow’ and pressed it as if it’s a ‘down button’. Even with the lack of audio, this TVC is creative because of the simplicity in it that it is easy to understand.
CREATIVE TVC (LOCAL)
I find this MAS’s TVC creative and interesting because it (to me) gave me the feeling of luxurious and comfort in traveling. The pictures are beautiful and as the TVC moves on to the 0:31 seconds, I like how they play with layers of images morphing into each other as it transitions.
And yes, since I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, that 3D hologram chess scene was FANTASTIC! So, this is why (in my humble opinion) I think that this TVC is creative.
